TOP-TOY A/S

TOP-TOY A/S is the largest toy retailer in the Nordic market. This position is achieved by using the expertise and knowledge from their stores and contacts around the world. TOP-TOY A/S is a holding company that contains the following companies: BR TOYS, TOYS"R"US (Scandinavia) and TOP-TOY (Hong Kong) Ltd.

The Top-toy group was originally founded by Børge Rasmussen, and the first BR TOYS store was opened in 1963. Since then BR TOYS has continued growing. And by 1990 TOP-TOY A/S was formed, as the formal body of all business activities.

Our head office and the distribution centre in Greve make up the core of TOP-TOY A/S. Here all suggestions and feedback from consumers are collected and evaluated prior to being presented to manufacturers and suppliers all over the world. The team of Category Managers is situated in Denmark close to the Nordic market and customers.

The specific location in Greve has been chosen for its excellent infrastructure with motorway, harbour and airport close by.

Recall

Recall was founded in 1997 under the name "Arkivrommet" ("The Archive Room"). The concept, originally developed in the US and subsequently introduced in Denmark and Norway, is rooted in the idea of safe storage of paper-based documentation combined with an index that makes it possible to recall the documentation easily and quickly.

Today Recall offers an array of information management services including indexing, document scanning, document destruction, document storage and back-up management. The main business area is still physical information management.

Recall today manages more than 9200 storage rooms in Greve Main business park, which is also the location of Recall's administrative offices. The administration building is a 900 square metre facility which employs 50 people.

ILVA

ILVA is the second largest home furnishing chain in Denmark. The chain consists of seven stores: three in Denmark, three in the UK and one in Sweden. ILVA's vision is to create the optimal conditions for having and retaining the most dedicated and talented employees to enable ILVA to create the best home furnishing stores with the best shopping experiences. ILVA is the trendsetter within interior design, selling quality furniture at reasonable prices and presented in inspiring settings.

Since 1997, ILVA's central distribution and administration have been located in Ventruppark in Greve. This has radically improved the company's warehouse control and logistics. Considering the Scandinavian locations of ILVA's stores in Jutland, Zealand and Sweden, placing the central warehousing and administration convenient to them all in Greve proved the optimal solution. Ease of access to the motorway network and the location close to Copenhagen enabled the company to successfully group its warehousing and administration facilities in Greve.
